Overlooking the scenic jade green waters of the beautiful Mopan River, this eco-friendly Belize guest house is a newly constructed, two storey lodge with 8 vacation suites. Most of these well appointed suites have private tiled bathrooms, balconies with great views, and vaulted 15-foot ceilings for air circulation and sunshine. All rooms have iPods, air conditioning, high speed internet access and fresh linens.
All of the rooms are tastefully decorated with a local Mayan theme.
On the main floor of Benque House is a large common kitchen and dining area for those who want to make their own meals or dine with other guests. The panoramic verandah is a great place to swap jungle tromping stories with other adventure-seeking travellers. The living area hosts cable TV, DVD player, iPod, high speed internet access and free calls to the U.S. and Canada.
